2012 Chevrolet Orlando Should be Popular in Canada with Boosted Fuel Efficiency

The freshest proposal of General Motor about the 2012 Chevrolet Orlando, the minivan segment, is coming soon. However, it’s only for the consumers in the States so far. On 12 August 2011, the carmaker that is based on Detroit declared the price of Orlando in Canada before it comes in dealers of the country two months later.

In Canada, the 2012 Orlando will be offered in three choices of trim level. The LS model will be priced at US$20,260 (CA$19,995), the LT at US$22,591 (CA$22,295), while the flagship LTZ at US$30,130 (CA$29,735).

All models are supported by Ecotec engine with four cylinders that has a capacity of 2.4 liters and direct-injection technology delivering 174 HP.
When connected to a manual gearbox with six speeds, it delivers a 10.1-lt/100-km fuel consumption or about 23.3 mpg US in the city and 6.7lt/100km or about 35.1 mpg US on the highway. When using automatic transmissions, it delivers 10.6 lt/100 km or about 22.2 mpg US in the city and 6.9 lt/100 km or about 34 mpg US on the highway.
The fuel efficient of Chevrolet is improved by the new Orlando. It offers the vehicle that is suitable and comfortable for family, like what the president of GM claims. Completed with boosted fuel efficiency and standard seat for seven persons, Orlando is expected to be popular for Canada families.
